- The Winlink 2000 HF RMS station
is open to all users with a valid amateur radio license.
- The station is scanning a number of HF bands and offers comprehensive
e-mail store and
forwarding services for remote radio-amateurs without access
to the internet.
- The Winlink 2000 HF-RMS can handle 5 users on 5 different ports at the
same time.
- Each port is single user so if you find a port occupied just switch
to another frequency
or check back later.
- Each port scans 2 frequencies in one particular band
so the cycle time is
5 seconds per band.
- I aim for maximum reliability of the system and long haul accessibility.

Important remarks:
-----------------
Do not forget to insert your Station Location into your Aimail2000 it
gives an indication of your direction and bearing
This has nothing to do with your position reports used
for the Winlink USER MAP !
TELNET is a connection over internet with Winlink 2000
without HF radio. Exemple via your own WIFI
Using your AIRMAIL 2000 software you can connect the CMS servers .
Upon
your first connect with a RMS follows a license verification - If
your second winlink connect is succesfull it means
that the license verification was succesfull -
if not you will be disconnected.
Rotary BEAM antennas for 30 and 20 meter !
The 14 MHz and 10 MHz have rotary beam antennas.
The beam homes on the signal source indicator.
a) The system needs to know where you are. The only
way to do this is check your AIRMAIL :
Go to : Tools >Settings > check " Send QTH "
b) Because both antennas are on the same boom.
the system is stops when ONE antenna is already
occupied.
If one of the 5
ports is not working well or has a poor signal I would appreciate if
you let me know !
